How Does the Affiliate Portal Work for Creators and PartnersUpdated 5 days ago
The affiliate portal is a self-service dashboard that external affiliates and creators access after joining — giving them everything they need to promote the store, track performance and manage earnings without requiring manual management from the founder.
Here is what the affiliate portal contains:
Unique tracking link — each affiliate's personal link displayed prominently. Every click and purchase from this link is attributed to them automatically.
Performance dashboard — showing total clicks, conversions, conversion rate and total earnings. A well-performing affiliate sees their results immediately without waiting for a report.
Commission history:
- A complete record of every purchase that earned a commission
- The order amount, commission percentage and commission value for each transaction
- The current unpaid balance and the next payout date
Promotional materials — any brand-approved product images, descriptions or copy the founder wants affiliates to use. Reduces off-brand promotion by making compliant assets the easiest option.
Payout information — the affiliate's payment method on file and the threshold they need to reach before a payment is triggered.
The portal is accessible through a link the founder shares during onboarding. Affiliates manage their entire program relationship independently — meaning the founder does not need to manage it manually.
