How Much Input Do You Need to Give During a ServiceUpdated 6 days ago
The input I need from you during a service is meaningful but not constant. I handle the execution completely — your job is to provide context and direction, not to manage the work.
Most of the input happens at two points. The discovery call at the start where I build the full picture of your situation. The delivery call at the end where you review everything and give your final feedback.
In between those two calls the input I typically need is:
- Access and assets shared promptly when requested
- A decision when a genuine choice needs to be made before I can proceed
- Feedback when I share something in progress that needs your eyes
What I never do is contact you constantly with small questions that I should be able to resolve independently. If I have enough context from the discovery call, most decisions during the work are mine to make. I reach out when your direction genuinely matters — not to appear busy or to shift responsibility.
The founders who find services feel effortless are usually the ones who gave thorough context at the discovery call. That upfront investment makes everything that follows smoother.
