How Do I Manage My Own Store After You Hand It OverUpdated 6 days ago

After the store is handed over, you manage it independently. The handover document and the walkthrough call give you everything needed to do that confidently from the first day.

Day to day store management for most solo D2C founders covers a small set of routine tasks.

The most common ones are:

  • Processing new orders and updating fulfilment status as items ship
  • Adding or updating products when your range changes
  • Monitoring your store analytics to understand which products and pages are performing
  • Responding to any customer messages that come through the store contact form

What does not require active management are the things set up as automations — email flows, WhatsApp order messages and any apps configured to run in the background. Those work without your involvement once live.

If something breaks or behaves unexpectedly after handover, email me at [email protected] and I will look at it promptly. If it relates to what was built during the service, I fix it. If it requires a new service to address properly, I tell you honestly what that is and why.

Managing a well-built store is not complicated. The complexity is in building it correctly — and that part is my job, not yours.
