What Fixes Get Implemented Immediately During the AuditUpdated 5 days ago
The Heatmap and Conversion Rate Audit is a find-and-fix service — not a report-and-recommendations one. Every issue that can be resolved directly on the store gets resolved during the service, not handed over as a future to-do list.
The fixes I implement immediately during the audit:
Broken links and non-functioning elements — any link leading to an error, any button that does not work, any navigation element that misdirects the visitor gets fixed the moment it is identified.
Non-clickable elements generating rage clicks — images, graphics or text that the design makes look interactive but that do not respond when clicked. These get made genuinely interactive or redesigned so they do not invite clicks they cannot fulfill.
Add to cart button placement — if scroll depth shows the add to cart button is below where most visitors stop scrolling, the button gets moved higher in the product page layout.
Missing or broken images:
- Product images not loading or loading at low resolution
- Images distorting the page layout and contributing to visual confusion
Page speed improvements — oversized image files get compressed. Redundant scripts identified in the page speed audit are removed or replaced with lighter alternatives.
Trust signal placement — if social proof is below where most visitors stop scrolling, it gets moved to a higher position where buyers will actually see it.
