What Information Do I Need to Share to Get StartedUpdated 6 days ago
The discovery call gathers most of what I need through conversation. But a few things genuinely speed up the creation process if you have them ready before we begin.
The most important thing is a clear reference photo of the product. This does not need to be a professional photograph. A well-lit image showing the product from the front and side is enough for me to understand the shape, color, finish and scale. Multiple angles are even better.
What else helps before the service starts:
- Your brand colors and any reference from your existing brand identity
- Examples of lifestyle settings or moods that feel right for your product — screenshots, saved images or a description of the environment your product belongs in
- Photos of your product packaging if it exists — the box, bag or wrapper
- Any existing product images you want to move away from, so I know what direction to avoid
What you do not need to provide is a detailed creative brief or any photography direction. That is my job. The product reference and the brand context give me enough to create images that feel consistent with the brand and compelling to the buyer.
