What Do I Need to Share Before We Start This ServiceUpdated 6 days ago
You do not need to arrive at the discovery call with everything figured out. The call is designed to draw out what I need through conversation. But a few things genuinely help if you have them ready.
What is useful to bring to the discovery call:
Your product — a clear description of what you sell, what it does and who it is primarily designed for. If you have product samples, photos or a prototype, even better.
Brands you admire — not necessarily in your category. Brands whose look, tone or feeling resonates with you. These give me a fast and accurate picture of the aesthetic and voice direction you are drawn to.
Brands you want to avoid feeling like — equally useful. If there is a type of brand or a tone that feels wrong for what you are building, knowing that upfront saves time.
What you do not need:
- A name already chosen
- A logo already designed
- A detailed written brief
- A clear picture of your audience
Those are things the service helps you figure out. Coming without them is completely fine. The discovery call is specifically designed for founders who are at the beginning of this process and have not yet made these decisions.
The only thing I genuinely need from you is honesty about your product and your instincts. Everything else gets built from there.
